OLA, India’s leading cab aggregator, needed a better way to connect drivers and riders in real time while protecting customer privacy, reducing driver mobile costs, and gaining visibility into call activity across its fast-growing platform. To address these communication gaps, OLA turned to Kaleyra and its cloud voice communication services, including virtual mobile numbers, call masking, dedicated contact numbers, short codes, and outbound voice support.

Kaleyra implemented a scalable cloud-based Voice platform that masked customer numbers, enabled temporary trip-based calling, supported driver-to-Ola support lines, and powered offline cab booking and OTP delivery. As a result, OLA improved its call success ratio to 70%, triggered millions of calls through Kaleyra each month, and now uses Kaleyra’s Voice Cloud for more than 40% of its call volume, helping drive stronger customer and driver satisfaction.
