Seaspan Ship Management equips 123 vessels with Kaleris for marine fleet performance and loading control

Seaspan Ship Management, the world's largest independent containership lessor and operator, selected Kaleris to enhance fleet performance monitoring and cargo safety. Their challenge involved preparing their fleet for a greener future and ensuring compliance with emissions regulations, while also needing better integration of cargo data into performance analysis and improving inter-departmental collaboration.

Kaleris implemented its Marine Fleet Performance Bluetracker and Connected Loading Computer solution, MACS3 Connected, across Seaspan's fleet of 123 vessels, with a Lashing Monitor also being added to 27 newbuilds. The solution provides a unified data set for performance and emissions analytics, improves cargo security to reduce container loss at sea, and enables flexible integration with existing tools. The deployment is expected to go live in the last quarter of 2023.
