The Georgia Ports Authority, operator of the largest container terminal in the Western Hemisphere, sought to enhance its operational performance and capacity utilization. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Kaleris and upgraded their terminal operating system using the Navis N4 TOS.

By implementing Kaleris's solution, the Georgia Ports Authority set multiple volume records. In August 2022, they completed over 70,000 marine lifts and 80,000 gate moves in a single week while handling 18.5% more TEUs than the previous month. These results, which included new daily records across gate, vessel, and rail operations, demonstrate how Kaleris enabled the port to significantly maximize its operational results and capacity.
