A Kalamuna Case Study

Preview of the NatureBridge Case Study

NatureBridge engages 35,000 students a year with Kalamuna

NatureBridge, the largest nonprofit educational partner of the National Park Service, faced significant challenges with an outdated, non-responsive website. Their previous site provided a poor user experience, had poor search and SEO functionality, and forced the organization to rely on external tools and microsites for critical sales, marketing, and donation activities. To better promote its environmental education programs across six national parks, NatureBridge partnered with the vendor Kalamuna for a website overhaul using Drupal 8.

Kalamuna, collaborating with design partner Blue State Digital, built a new, flexible Drupal 8 platform for NatureBridge. The solution featured responsive design, improved information architecture, and rapid prototyping to showcase stunning photography and intuitive layouts. Kalamuna's implementation enhanced on-site search and SEO and configured the site for future Salesforce integration. The result was a robust, easy-to-use website that better supports program registration, donations, and mission promotion, giving NatureBridge a digital presence worthy of its brand.
