General Services Administration - Customer Case Study

The General Services Administration (GSA) was challenged by an end-of-life legacy project management information system (PMIS) that was slow, complex, and unable to meet the agency's modern operational needs. Faced with managing thousands of projects and a massive property portfolio, GSA required a modern, intuitive solution to replace its antiquated system and consolidate numerous point solutions. They turned to the vendor Kahua for a next-generation PMIS.

Kahua implemented its flexible, cloud-based platform, which was selected for its ability to conform to GSA's specific workflows and its FedRAMP-authorized security compliance. The solution consolidated systems, provided real-time data access, and eliminated duplicate data entry. As a result, GSA successfully migrated 2,400 projects and now supports 4,000 users on a single, integrated platform that will scale to support 7,500 users and over 8,000 active projects, significantly improving productivity and data integrity.
