Firelink, the organisation that supplies the Fire and Rescue Service with the communications needed to mobilise resources and maintain control-room to incident-commander links, needed a secure, flexible cloud system to manage post-procurement collaboration. They required a way for internal and external stakeholders to share contract and project documents through formal review cycles, communicate status and milestones, and meet tight delivery timescales—so Firelink selected Kahootz to provide a cloud-based Management Information System.

Kahootz delivered a customised MIS (branded FirelinkMIS) that was deployed in just a couple of weeks, including guidance on naming/classification and administration rules to enforce Government Information Level security. The platform provides document storage, automated notifications (eliminating time‑consuming email updates), role-based access control, and ongoing Kahootz support; to date Firelink has used Kahootz to run over 100 online communities and collaborative working groups, streamlining project management and reporting.
