UAE-based Higher Colleges of Technology connect 800+ teachers with a Kahoot! site license

Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), the largest state-funded higher education institution in the UAE, needed a way to connect and support faculty across 16 campuses as interest in using Kahoot! grew beyond a few early adopters. As more instructors from different departments requested access, HCT looked for a scalable way to roll out the platform system-wide and help teachers integrate it effectively into their teaching.

Kahoot! provided a site license through Kahoot! EDU, along with onboarding support, communication planning, and professional development for staff. Higher Colleges of Technology quickly onboarded hundreds of teachers, growing from 305 Kahoot! members shortly after launch to over 800 users by mid-June, with nearly 1,000 unique kahoots created, more than 1,900 student-paced challenges, over 6,800 live sessions, and 86,000+ participants. In a survey, 64% of teachers said Kahoot! supported student learning.
