Hologic, a global medical technology company focused on women’s health, faced the challenge of making its annual sales kick-off more energizing and effective at building product knowledge and competitive awareness. To achieve this, Hologic used Kahoot! as their interactive training tool, designing an Olympic-style tournament and themed games to make product training and competitor intel more engaging for their commercial teams.

Kahoot! powered team and individual tracks in Athens with live case scenarios, a “Mythbusters” competitor game, timed quizzes, and post-question explanations; trainers could also track individual performance in real time. The result was noticeably higher energy and engagement, deeper discussion of case work, follow-up conversations at country meetings, and stronger retention of product and competitive knowledge—outcomes Hologic credits directly to Kahoot!’s competitive, interactive format.
