Edge Grove School faced the challenge of increasing student engagement and making formative assessment in French lessons more interactive and easy to manage. French teacher Christel Grandemange began using the Kahoot! platform to create quick, game-based quizzes on iPads that would motivate students and give immediate feedback.

Kahoot! delivered a simple-to-build, classroom game solution that Grandemange used for starters, plenaries, surveys and a whole-school assembly of about 80 pupils, plus staff training sessions. The result was consistently positive student feedback, wider teacher adoption across the school, easier identification of learners needing support through per-question results (exportable to Google Drive), and increased visibility for the school through visits and media — all driven by Kahoot!'s features and support.
