Calliope Global, led by co‑founder and lead program developer Jen Williams, needed a way to engage diverse, international classrooms and demonstrate the value of global connectedness in learning. To meet that challenge they turned to Kahoot! as the interactive platform for a screenshared lecture developed with Eoin Lenihan that needed to spark collaboration across borders and provide quick feedback on learning impact.

Kahoot! was used live during the session for interactive activities and a simple three‑question Kahoot! survey to capture students’ learning priorities, preferred pedagogies, and tech tools to adopt. The result was immediate, measurable feedback that helped Jen and her colleagues refine instruction, sustained student exploration of Kahoot! in subsequent weeks, and noticeably increased engagement and cross‑border collaboration—demonstrating Kahoot!’s effectiveness in enriching learning without geographic limits.
