How Mexican retailer Coppel added Kahoot! tournaments to their training strategy to engage over 20,000 salespeople nationwide

Coppel, a major Mexican retailer with more than 1,600 stores and over 20,000 salespeople nationwide, needed a way to train at scale, identify knowledge gaps, and keep employees engaged while strengthening a culture of recognition. To address this challenge, Coppel turned to Kahoot! and its Kahoot! 360 Spirit solution as part of its training strategy.

With Kahoot!, Coppel launched live national training tournaments across 24 regions, using the platform to reinforce product knowledge, assess understanding, and gather data to improve future training. The results included better information retention, faster identification and correction of knowledge gaps, more personalized feedback for regions and departments, and a stronger employee-recognition culture; to date, the tournaments have engaged about 23,000 participants, including nearly 2,000 in Coppel’s largest regional event.
