Global Financial Institution, one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations, needed a better way to communicate its 2021 corporate strategy to 32,000 employees across 65 countries. Like many large enterprises, it relied on email updates, but engagement was low and only a small number of employees clicked through to the content. The company turned to Kahoot! and its Kahoot! 360 Spirit offering to make strategy communication more interactive and engaging.

Kahoot! helped Global Financial Institution run a two-week Kahoot! wave with translated quizzes, live manager-led sessions, and asynchronous follow-up for employees who could not attend live. More than 2,700 sessions were hosted and over 32,000 employees participated, spending 780,000 minutes engaging with the strategy. The initiative drove a 32% increase in employees with a fair/good understanding of the company’s strategy, a 44% increase in understanding of the company’s ambition, and generated 26,000 brainstorm ideas, while also boosting team spirit and healthy competition.
