Liftoff, a California-based mobile app marketing platform, faced the challenge of keeping a fast-growing team connected after doubling across six locations. To help newcomers get to know one another and strengthen company culture during all-hands and team sessions, Liftoff introduced Kahoot! as a game-based engagement tool for icebreakers and team-building.

Kahoot! was implemented as 45-minute, multi-round games with mixed teams spanning departments and offices, and Liftoff also used branded Kahoot! quizzes at customer-facing events. The result: stronger internal connections and a more open culture—employees report Kahoot! breaks down communication barriers—and higher engagement and networking at events thanks to interactive, personalized quizzes.
