EDHEC Business School engages, connects and onboards international students with Kahoot!

EDHEC Business School, one of Europe’s top 15 business schools, needed a better way to welcome and onboard around 400 new international students arriving in Lille and Nice. The school’s international student offices wanted to make the transition less stressful, share practical information more dynamically, and create a more engaging experience for students both before arrival and during their first weeks on campus. To support this, they turned to Kahoot! EDU.

With Kahoot!, EDHEC planned interactive onboarding presentations, student-paced challenges, and feedback activities using quizzes, polls, and open-ended questions. The vendor Kahoot! helped the school deliver onboarding in both virtual and in-person formats, encourage two-way interaction, break the ice among students, and collect useful feedback on accommodation and services. While no hard metrics were reported, EDHEC said the enthusiasm and engagement they had seen in a previous Kahoot! session made them confident it would improve student connection and participation.
