Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School takes engagement and review to the next level with Kahoot! EDU

Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, a private K–12 school in New York City, needed a way to keep students engaged and supported during a sudden shift to hybrid and remote learning. With more than 1,300 students and 300+ teachers, the school looked for tools that could work seamlessly in Zoom-based classes while maintaining interaction and review; teachers were already using Kahoot! individually and wanted a more advanced, schoolwide solution.

Kahoot! provided a Kahoot! EDU site license, giving 55 teachers access to collaborative features, polls, puzzles, slides, and reporting. Teachers used Kahoot! for content review, exit tickets, and student check-ins, helping reduce video fatigue and keep engagement high both in class and at home. The school reported that teachers and students loved the platform, and the analytics gave educators better insight into learning and student well-being.
