A Kaazing Case Study
Roy Morgan Research, Australia’s long-established market research company, needed a way to capture real-time audience reactions for its Reactor second-screen application. Its existing open-source and polling-based options suffered from latency, weak scalability, and security issues, making it hard to deliver true real-time feedback across mobile and browser environments.
Kaazing provided the WebSocket Gateway and global support to power Reactor across iOS, Android, and HTML5 devices with secure, low-latency two-way communication. With Kaazing, Roy Morgan Research could record reactions up to four times per second and display instant synchronized graphs, achieving sub-2-second delivery, improved scalability, and a better user experience for live TV, advertising, and research analysis.
