A K12 Insight Case Study
La Habra City Schools, a small high-poverty district in Orange County, needed a better way to meet California’s stakeholder-engagement requirements for its LCAP and English Learner advisory committees without pulling staff away from education. The district struggled with paper surveys and manual tallying, and turned to K12 Insight for help with survey collection and community feedback through Engage and Let’s Talk!.
K12 Insight implemented Engage to deliver surveys online and offline in multiple languages, analyze responses, and provide actionable reports, and also supported focus groups and community input through Let’s Talk! The result was significant time savings, faster reporting, and better-informed planning; district leaders said the surveys saved countless staff hours and improved decisions, including professional development tailored to teachers’ needs and plans that better reflected community input.
