Hays CISD - Customer Case Study

Hays CISD, a fast-growing school district in Texas, needed a better way to listen to students, parents, staff, and other stakeholders as it balanced rapid growth, changing demographics, and community tensions. The district wanted to improve customer service, strengthen engagement, and address concerns more proactively, and it turned to K12 Insight for support through surveys, focus groups, and advisory services.

K12 Insight helped Hays CISD build a more strategic engagement plan with Engage, then stepped in quickly during a major controversy at Blanco Vista Elementary by running focus groups, providing interpreters, and delivering an independent report with findings and recommendations. Using K12 Insight’s guidance, the district shared results with the community, informed leadership decisions, and improved planning and decision making; it also launched Let’s Talk! for always-on feedback, helping staff route messages efficiently and better understand key issues affecting district unity.
