Stuttgart powers 5,200 households with juwi Group's 11.2 MW solar plant

Stuttgart Municipal Utilities sought to expand its portfolio of renewable energy generation and advance its goal of supplying customers with its own green electricity. To meet this challenge, it partnered with project developer juwi Group to acquire a newly constructed ground-mounted photovoltaic system.

juwi developed, constructed, and commissioned the 11.2 MW peak Ahldorf solar park for Stuttgart Municipal Utilities. The solution, comprised of over 19,000 solar panels, now supplies approximately 5,200 households with clean electricity. This project delivers a significant measurable impact, generating around 13 gigawatt hours of energy annually and reducing harmful CO2 emissions by an estimated 5,700 tons each year.
