MVV powers 23,000 households with juwi Group's Olsberg-Antfeld wind farm

The customer, MVV, sought to expand its portfolio of renewable energy assets and contribute to the regional energy transition in Germany. The vendor, juwi Group, provided its expertise in wind farm project development and planning to help MVV achieve this goal.

juwi developed and planned the Olsberg-Antfeld wind farm, which consists of four modern wind turbines built on a forest area previously damaged by a storm. The solution implemented by juwi generated a significant measurable impact: the wind farm has a total capacity of 22 MW and produces approximately 60 million kWh of clean electricity annually, enough to power around 23,000 households. This project also contributed to the renaturation of the local area.
