MVV commissions 13.5 MW solar plant with juwi Group

The customer MVV, an energy company, partnered with vendor juwi Group to expand its renewable energy generation capacity. The challenge was to develop and construct a new, large-scale solar power plant as part of MVV's broader strategy to transition its portfolio to green energies.

The solution implemented by juwi was the construction of a 13.5 MW solar park in Freudenberg, which utilizes 23,000 bifacial modules. This project, juwi's seventh joint solar installation with MVV, generates 14.8 million kWh of electricity annually, enough to power approximately 4,750 households. The successful integration of this solar park near an existing wind farm furthers MVV's goal of increasing its own renewable generation to around 2,000 megawatts.
