MVV adds 5.6 MW of wind power with juwi Group

The customer, MVV, is an energy company focused on expanding its renewable energy generation. They worked with the vendor, juwi Group, to develop and construct a new wind turbine as part of the Gollenberg wind farm.

juwi implemented a Vestas V162 5.6 MW wind turbine, which significantly increased the site's capacity. This new turbine generates an estimated 12.5 million kWh of electricity annually, enough to power approximately 5,000 households and avoid 9,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The juwi project demonstrates the progress in wind technology, as this single modern turbine produces five times more power than an older model installed at the same location.
