Two-Step Lead Capture Redesign Leads to 63% Same-Session Conversion Rate

BK Beauty, an e-commerce cosmetics company founded by YouTube creator Lisa J with her husband, Paul, wanted to improve its onsite list-building and welcome email strategy. Working with Justuno and the email platform Klaviyo through Fuel Made, the company aimed to build email and SMS databases while also driving more post-email conversion.

Justuno helped BK Beauty implement a two-step lead capture that collected email addresses and SMS numbers, then sent subscribers into segmented Klaviyo flows with a redesigned welcome sequence. The new setup produced a 5.12% engagement rate on desktop, an 11.62% engagement rate on mobile, a 28% average engaged conversion rate, and a 63% average same-session conversion rate, while also increasing placed orders by 36% from the discount email and 118% from the welcome email.
