Executing a Branded Post-Purchase SMS List Growth Strategy

Malomo worked with Justuno to improve its post-purchase experience and collect more SMS opt-ins from customers tracking their orders. The goal was to add an on-brand tap-to-text opt-in that fit seamlessly into its custom Malomo tracking page and only appeared to shoppers who had not already subscribed.

Justuno and Malomo implemented SMS capture on two custom mobile pages: the order confirmation page and the order tracking page. The result was a 121.5% increase in SMS tap-to-text engagement and a 22.57% increase in post-purchase engagement, with a 3.66% engaged conversion rate from the tracking page within a 7-day window. The opted-in phone numbers were then pushed into a Klaviyo flow for ongoing communication.
