Lincoln School of Computer Science - Customer Case Study

The Lincoln School of Computer Science at the University of Lincoln needed a way to teach mobile app development with a stronger focus on usability and user-centered design, rather than letting students jump straight into coding. Using Justinmind, the school set out to support a “design first, code second” approach for its Mobile Computing module and help students rapidly prototype app ideas within a short teaching window.

Justinmind provided the solution with high-fidelity prototyping, usability testing, iteration tools, and support for Android-style app features, making it easier for 140 students to build polished prototypes before coding. As a result, students created functional Android prototypes, improved their understanding of user experience and requirements, and achieved better engagement and learning outcomes.
