A Justice Systems Case Study
The 17th Judicial Circuit Court in Winnebago County was struggling with an outdated, nondocumented case management system from the 1970s that could not meet modern demands. Processing approximately 110,000 cases annually, the court faced the immense challenge of converting 1.89 million legacy cases and transitioning its staff and numerous external agencies away from manual, paper-based processes.
Justice Systems implemented its FullCourt Enterprise web-based case management platform, working closely with the court to ensure a smooth transition. The results were transformative: the filing process was shortened from days to hours, $14 million in outstanding fines was collected, and data sharing was dramatically improved. Justice Systems provided a solution that made the court more efficient, accurate, and better able to serve the public.
