Auth0 improves SecOps capability with JupiterOne

Auth0, a product unit within Okta, faced the challenge of consolidating vulnerability management and understanding third‑party access across a large AWS cloud estate. Led by Staff Security Engineer George Vauter, the team had an in‑house Neptune graph but needed a faster, more complete way to see asset relationships, configurations, and vulnerabilities—so they engaged JupiterOne and its Graph View to unify that context.

JupiterOne ingested data from Auth0’s tools (AWS, Rapid7, GuardDuty, Bugcrowd, and more), modeled assets and relationships in a graph, and provided simple queries to analyze IAM roles and permissions. Using JupiterOne, Auth0 de‑duplicated and prioritized findings, discovered all third‑party accounts and access, enforced least‑privilege, and consolidated disparate tooling into a single platform—delivering immediate visibility, faster vulnerability prioritization, and cross‑team value for security, compliance, and cloud cost management.
