Weber County Library System, a five‑branch public library serving over 200,000 residents in Utah, was constrained by an aging network that couldn’t handle growing multimedia collections or a pilot VDI project. The existing infrastructure limited bandwidth and management efficiency, preventing the lean IT team from supporting increasing patron demand and modern desktop virtualization.

Trusted Network Solutions worked with Juniper Networks to deploy a cost‑effective upgrade using EX4500 10GbE core switches with Virtual Chassis and EX4200/EX3300 switches at the data center and edge. The refresh raised desktops from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps, smoothed video and multimedia delivery, enabled the VDI rollout, and simplified management—boosting performance, lowering maintenance costs, and allowing IT to do more with less.
