ServerCentral Builds a Better Network to Deliver Superior Managed Data Center Services

ServerCentral, a colocation, cloud, and managed‑services provider, needed to give customers instant, global access to virtualized applications while supporting massive VM mobility, high availability, and faster provisioning. The company faced a proliferation of VMs and hypervisors and rising demand for any‑to‑any Layer‑2 connectivity and self‑service control so customers could configure infrastructure on demand.

ServerCentral rebuilt its network on Juniper technology—MX Series routers, QFX5100 switches with Virtual Chassis Fabric, SRX/vSRX security—and implemented EVPN-based Layer‑2 overlays plus Junos OS automation (NETCONF, Ansible). The new design simplified and sped service delivery (self‑provisioning in days vs. two weeks), improved performance and DDoS resilience, and paved the way for a customer self‑service portal that delivers greater control, customization, and insight.
