Case Study: Orange Business Services achieves rapid, automated SDN/NFV service delivery with Juniper Networks

A Juniper Networks Case Study

Preview of the Orange Business Services Case Study

Orange Business Services Offers Dynamic Services for SMBs Over an SDN and NFV based Network

Orange Business Services, a global IT and communications provider serving customers in 220 countries, faced declining agility from its legacy MPLS-based network as customers demanded faster, more flexible, and self-customizable services—especially for SMBs with up to 30 sites. The company set out to build a showcase SDN/NFV platform, Easy Go Network, to cut service delivery times, reduce errors, and enable on-demand, automated network and security services.

Using Juniper MX Series routers for NFVI, Contrail as the SDN controller, and vSRX virtual firewalls (plus vCPE orchestration), Orange launched a live, commercial Easy Go Network with plug‑and‑play equipment and a self‑service portal. The result: customers can turn up and reconfigure services in minutes, faster time‑to‑market for new offerings, simplified operations through automation and virtualization, and new growth opportunities in SMB and international markets.
