Onet, a leading Polish online publisher reaching about 14 million unique users and 2.4 billion page views per month, needed to turn its growing portal into a secure, highly available platform for corporate clients. With rising traffic and a new secondary data center, Onet’s priorities were enterprise-grade security and client separation, support for a virtualized cloud environment, full redundancy and scalability, and simplified network management.

Onet deployed a Juniper-based infrastructure—MX480 edge/core routers, SRX240 firewalls, EX4200/EX4500 switches and the Junos OS—using virtualization and Virtual Chassis technology to separate clients, centralize management, and scale capacity. The solution enabled a secure, multi-tenant cloud service (supporting 100,000+ concurrent users on VOD), transparent in-house implementation, reduced operational overhead, and a scalable foundation for future growth.
