Hillenbrand, a manufacturer of caskets, urns and materials‑handling equipment, needed to separate its IT infrastructure during a corporate spinoff and build a secure, flexible network able to support enterprise applications, IP voice and future acquisitions across more than 90 locations. The IT team required a reliable, easy‑to‑manage and scalable solution that minimized transition risk and fit the company’s lean operations.

Hillenbrand deployed a Juniper portfolio — EX2200/EX4200/EX4500 switches (with Virtual Chassis), SRX1400 gateways, J6350 routers, MAG4610 Junos Pulse gateways and JSA Secure Analytics — to create a highly virtualized, resilient campus and data center network.
