Fluidata Consolidates Network Architecture for Enhanced Service Delivery to Customers

Fluidata, a UK business-focused ISP operating resilient networks from 10 data centers and providing Layer 2 DSL and Ethernet services to ISPs and enterprises, faced rising customer demand for higher‑bandwidth Ethernet services, the complexity and cost of three separate networks, and the need to support advanced MPLS/VPLS services while reducing capital and operational expenditure and improving engineering efficiency.

Fluidata consolidated its architecture around Juniper MX Series routers, EX4200 switches and the Junos OS, migrating more than 10,000 customer lines with implementation partners. The standardized, modular solution simplified management with a single OS, expanded MPLS/VPLS and Ethernet offerings, delivered better performance and scalability (including future 100GbE), and reduced long‑term capital and operational costs while enabling wins on larger projects.
