A Juniper Networks Case Study
The City of Dublin, Ohio — home to firms like Cardinal Health, Wendy’s and Nationwide — wanted to attract small, high‑growth businesses and revitalize older office parks that were losing competitiveness to new construction. With prime space filling fast, the city launched a pilot at Metro Center Office Park to make legacy buildings more appealing by addressing the key barrier for startups and tech firms: affordable, high‑speed connectivity.
Dublin formed a public‑private partnership with Metro Data Center to upgrade its Dublink fiber to 100 Gbps using Juniper routing, switching and management gear, and to offer subsidized transport with multiple carrier choices from a single point of access. The result: higher tenancy and new SMB relocations, measurable cost savings for tenants, a more competitive carrier marketplace, and a scalable model the city can expand to other legacy office parks.
