Commsworld, Scotland’s leading telecommunications network services provider, needed to scale rapidly after acquiring ISP Fluency. The company sought a vendor and integration partner to replace its open‑source stack with a carrier‑grade, automatable platform that could support thousands of customers, reduce operational burden, and keep total cost of ownership low.

Working with Axians, Commsworld built a Juniper‑based network—MX480 and MX104 edge routers, EX4300 switches, SRX gateways and Junos OS—expanding to 21 POPs with automated service provisioning. The deployment delivered an agile, power‑efficient, carrier‑grade network, improved customer responsiveness, lower TCO, and the capacity to support rapid growth and multi‑gigabit rollouts such as upcoming CityFibre gigabit city projects.
