Pai Northern Thai Kitchen creates a 12,000-square-foot immersive dining experience with Jump Branding & Design

Jump Branding & Design was hired by Pai Northern Thai Kitchen to translate the authentic, energetic vibe of their successful downtown Toronto restaurant into a new, much larger 12,000-square-foot uptown location. The challenge was to create an immersive dining experience that would capture the specific relaxed and whimsical atmosphere of the backpacker's village of Pai, Thailand, within a modern urban space.

The solution implemented by Jump Branding & Design was a detailed interior design that used genuine sights, sounds, and scents to transport guests. Key elements included 220 hand-formed paper lanterns, vibrant festive flags, reclaimed and repurposed architectural features, and a commissioned street scene illustration. The result is a grand yet intimate space that accommodates up to 400 guests and successfully replicates the chill hippie backpacker vibe of northern Thailand, ensuring a unique and authentic experience with every visit.
