:Dribe, a Danish mobility startup launched in 2018, wanted to make its car subscription service fully digital while still protecting its fleet from theft and fraud. The company needed a way to let customers onboard 24/7 with a smooth user experience, and it chose Jumio’s AI-powered identity verification and eKYC solutions to help validate users before they could book a car.

Jumio implemented real-time ID verification, selfie checks, and liveness detection so :Dribe could confirm that applicants were genuine and that the person using the ID matched the account holder. As a result, :Dribe said fraud attempts dropped by 75%, and Jumio also eliminated the need for manual driver’s license checks while supporting the company’s international expansion with verification for more than 5,000 ID subtypes worldwide.
