Bofin is the world’s first marketplace for financial products and services, letting customers open bank accounts, move money instantly and manage multi-country finances from a single app. To deliver this global vision it needed a single sign-on onboarding and authentication flow that was fast and user-friendly yet met strict KYC/AML and legacy banking requirements — with global coverage, high verification success, bank-grade security and minimal manual review (other vendors produced up to 70% error rates in testing).

After evaluating more than a dozen vendors, Bofin chose Jumio’s AI- and biometrics-based identity verification and authentication.
