Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer uploads 4 files to Blob Storage with JSCAPE

The customer, Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer, needed a way to automate the transfer of unstructured data files into Azure Blob Storage using existing FTP/S-based workflows, as their native tools were not suitable for automated uploads from scripts or clients. They partnered with the vendor JSCAPE and utilized its MFT Server product to address this challenge.

JSCAPE implemented a solution by configuring its MFT Server to act as an FTP/S gateway. They set up a network storage object linked directly to the customer's Azure Blob container and mapped a user's virtual path to that storage. This allowed any files uploaded via FTP/S to be automatically and seamlessly transferred into the specified blob container. The result was a successful, automated workflow where files uploaded through an FTP client immediately appeared in Azure Blob Storage, eliminating manual processes.
