JSCAPE implemented a solution using their custom AppendDateOrTimeFileName function. The team created a trigger within Jscape MFT Server that automatically executes a "Rename File" action upon file upload. This action uses the function to append a customizable timestamp, such as hour, minute, and second, directly to the filename. The result is an automated and reliable file renaming system; for example, a file named "test.txt" uploaded at 8:23:01 PM is instantly renamed to "text_20_23_01.txt."
