JSCAPE implemented a solution for a user of Jscape MFT Server who needed to proactively monitor server performance and receive alerts for potential issues related to high memory consumption. The challenge was to identify and be notified of specific times when the server's heap usage was critically high, which could lead to slowed responsiveness.

The solution implemented by JSCAPE involved creating a custom trigger within the Jscape MFT Server platform. This trigger used the custom function GetHeapUsageInPercentile to check if the used heap memory exceeded 80% every 30 minutes. When this threshold was met, the trigger automatically sent a detailed email alert, which included the precise heap usage percentage, enabling the customer's team to promptly address performance concerns before they impacted users.
