Defense Contractor Secures Data with MFT Server and MFT Gateway

A defense and intelligence contractor, a provider of advanced information processing systems, faced challenges securing its data exchanges. Its home-grown file transfer solution could not meet evolving security requirements, including the need for DMZ streaming and FIPS-140-2 compliance. The contractor sought a commercial managed file transfer solution to replace it and engaged JSCAPE.

JSCAPE implemented its MFT Server and MFT Gateway products to address these challenges. The solution enabled secure data streaming without files landing in the DMZ and provided FIPS-140-2 certified cryptography. As a result, the contractor now securely processes thousands of files and approximately 35TB of data per month, meeting all stringent government compliance and security requirements.
