Kindred and their revolutionary All Employee Stock Plan

Kindred, an online gambling services company headquartered in Malta, wanted an employee stock plan that could work across a global workforce and better fit its retention goals. After moving away from a more traditional offering, it turned to J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions to develop an international stock plan for more than 2,000 employees across 17 locations.

J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions helped Kindred launch a 2-year vesting all-employee stock plan in 2021, with the same award for every permanent employee outside the executive management team regardless of location. The vendor also supported the company with country-by-country legal, tax, and communications guidance, and the plan quickly earned external recognition, including ESOP Star 2021 and the “Most Innovative and Creative Plan Design” award at the 2022 Global Equity Organization awards.
