Mattioli Woods, a UK wealth management and employee benefits firm, was managing its Long Term Incentive Plan in house until the process became time-consuming, paper-based, and difficult for stakeholders and participants alike. Reports were slow, data security was a concern, and participants had no visibility of their award portfolios.

J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions, then operating as Global Shares, migrated the LTIP to an online, cloud-based employee portal with branded participant access, digital plan documents, and electronic handling of grant acceptance, vesting, voting, and reporting. The change improved data security and compliance, kept vested shares in electronic form, and made the audit process easier; Mattioli Woods said it was its easiest audit to date and that every stage of the grant, vest and exercise process could be accessed in minutes.
