Case Study: Mulo launches Canada’s first cargo bikeshare with Joyride

A Joyride Case Study

Preview of the Mulo Case Study

How Mulo Scaled Canada’s First Cargo Bikeshare with Joyride

Mulo, a Montreal-based startup, identified a gap in the city's mobility options, which lacked a flexible, car-alternative for transporting goods. The challenge was to provide a practical, emission-free solution without the cost and storage burden of individual ownership. They turned to Joyride's fleet management platform to bring their electric cargo bike-share concept to life.

The solution implemented by Joyride provided Mulo with a completely automated rental platform, including a branded Rider app and an operations dashboard. This allowed users to reserve bikes and enabled Mulo to track trips and manage its fleet remotely. Using Joyride's tools led to significant results, including over 450 users in a single month and an average trip duration of 90 minutes, successfully scaling Canada's first cargo bike-share service.
