PDS Reduces Timesheet Effort and Error Using Journyx

PDS, a specialty recruiting firm with 31 offices nationwide, was hampered by an inefficient spreadsheet-based time-tracking process and needed a web-based, simple-to-implement SaaS solution that integrated with Lawson ERP, was cost-effective and SAS 70 compliant. After evaluating the market, PDS selected Journyx and its Journyx Timesheet product to meet those requirements.

Journyx implemented Journyx Timesheet across three time-collection models — office staff, project-based engineers (about 250 users), and a planned rollout to roughly 1,000 field employees in 30+ states — to replace paper timesheets and integrate with Lawson. The solution eliminated manual entry of more than 1,000 timesheets, freed 2–3 full-time equivalents, and reduced timekeeping and billing errors, directly improving PDS’s receivables.
