HOPE Improves Grants Management and Payroll Efficiency with Journyx

HOPE Fair Housing Center, the oldest fair housing center in Illinois, faced a timekeeping and grants-management challenge: staff time was tracked in spreadsheets and paper timesheets across multiple funding sources, making federal grant compliance and payroll reconciliation into QuickBooks® inefficient and error-prone. To address this, HOPE turned to Journyx and its time-tracking system to centralize and standardize time and activity reporting.

Journyx implemented a centralized time-tracking solution with configurable columns, drop-down menus and reporting tools that allow HOPE to run time-and-effort reports by grant, activity or period and meet Federal Supercircular requirements. The system enabled concurrent biweekly timesheets for payroll, reduced payroll errors through validation and matrix reports, simplified QuickBooks® entries, and cut processes that once took days down to hours, improving efficiency and audit readiness.
