Second Use, a Seattle company that salvages and sells reclaimed building materials to keep waste out of landfills, faced an internal challenge: reduce paper use and streamline how they collect applications, orders, and staff signups. Outreach Director Mary Anne Carter needed a fast, simple way to replace paper forms while supporting Second Use’s broader mission of environmental protection and community commerce.

Jotform provided an online, easy-to-build solution that replaced paper applications, enabled Stripe-powered vendor fees and t-shirt/calendar sales, and simplified internal signups. Using Jotform, Second Use moved key workflows online, improved data review and payment collection, and aligned day-to-day operations with their mission to divert waste (they’ve kept about 3,500 tons out of landfills) while reducing office paper use.
