How the University of San Francisco Helps Students Travel the Globe with JotForm

The University of San Francisco’s Center for Global Education needed a reliable way to collect and organize detailed student data—passport details, emergency contacts, insurance, behavior contracts and travel intent—for study abroad and inbound exchange programs. With more than 10% of the student body studying abroad and over 500 student records to process annually, USF required a solution that ensured student safety and readiness for emergencies. They turned to Jotform’s online forms to streamline this intake process.

Using Jotform, Associate Director Allyn Nobles built customized pre‑departure and JEEP application forms (collecting participant info, emergency contacts, immigration history, and behavior agreements) without IT support. Jotform enabled USF to manage information for more than 500 students each year, speed up processing, improve organization and emergency preparedness, and efficiently support both outbound study‑abroad students and inbound exchange visitors.
