A Jotform Case Study
Bobcat Company, which operates repair shops in New York City, faced challenges collecting reliable inspection and repair data from technicians working on heavy equipment. Paper forms were easily lost and sending web links to forms was unreliable because technicians often lacked stable internet. To solve this, Bobcat turned to Jotform, using the reimagined Assign Forms feature in Jotform’s Form Builder and the Jotform Mobile Forms app to assign check-in and machine evaluation forms that capture names, emails, photos and electronic signatures.
Jotform’s Assign Forms plus the Mobile Forms app (with offline and kiosk modes) let service director Ken Halliday push specific forms to technicians, who can complete and submit them without a connection; submissions are then routed into Monday.com for work management and Dropbox for archiving. By using Jotform, Bobcat eliminated lost information from intermittent connectivity, streamlined check-in and inspection workflows, and gave managers and technicians immediate access to submission histories and required documentation.
